Doesn't McDonalds always make you sick?
I thought that just sort of came with the territory, but apparently not. The parents of a 5-year old South Florida girl are suing the mega corporation because they claim that a couple of undeclared ingredients in their French fries caused their daughter to undergo a sever allergic reaction.
The two products, gluten and casein, are fairly common food products but since McDonalds failed to declare them in their list of ingredients for their French fries the plaintiffs could have a solid case. In addition, the parents went through great strides to ensure that the fries did not contain potentially "allergic" ingredients before allowing their little girl to partake.
Although they are still reviewing the facts of the case, I have a feeling that McDonalds will end up settling this particular product liability case out of court.
